Compaan Design will be present at the High Tech Equipment Engineering 2008 event. At the event, CEO Bart Kienhuis, will talk about the need for flexible embedded compute platforms.  button hte.jpgApplications in telecommunication or health systems (tomography) increasingly have to process more signals. Given the real-time design constraints on these signals, FPGAs can provide a powerful and flexible embedded compute platform as it exploits both temporal and spatial computation. However, programming FPGAs can be daunting. Bart Kienhuis will present the unique Compaan compiler technique that realizes hardware/software implementations on FPGAs straight from C code.
